Ernesto Morales (Eng)

2017 Builder Alumnus

Mexico City, Mexico

Ernesto Morales is an entrepreneur with an inspiring story that began in Mexico City with his participation in the program ‘Young Entrepreneurs in CDMX 3.0.’ This experience marked a milestone in his life, teaching him the importance of effort, belief in his abilities, and the capacity to make things happen.

The journey was more than a series of activities; it was a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Participating in the Gallup program in 2017 with his project ‘Bamboo & Pet’, which later evolved into ‘DISPAREJO’, a brand of handmade eco-friendly clothing with unique designs made by indigenous people from the Otomi, Mazahua, and Huichol cultures, was the catalyst that allowed him to visualize his future at the age of 17.

With renewed determination, Ernesto decided to study International Trade and Business, with the aim of continuing to prepare himself for the business world. During his university years, he did not stop in his pursuit of entrepreneurship. From launching an app to order healthy food to creating beauty products, each business was a valuable lesson that contributed to his personal and professional growth.

Despite some of his ventures not achieving the expected success, Ernesto considers them as important steps in his journey towards success. He currently works in foreign trade, negotiating import and export rates for air, sea, and land freight worldwide. His goal is to thoroughly understand emerging markets to prepare for his next venture with a global and strategic vision.

Ernesto Morales is an example of perseverance, passion, and business vision, whose story continues to inspire others to follow their dreams and make things happen.
